The Fourth Edition of In50hrs is On. April 6-8, 2012 In50Hrs is a Weekend Hackathon where people with Ideas, Developers, and Designers get together to give life to ideas and have working prototypes before the weekend is out, present it to a room full of like-minded folks, and perhaps pave the way for the beginning of a new product. How often have you pondered on ideas, but are a bit scared to quit your day job to pursue it? Well, a weekend is a risk-free way to figure if there are legs to that idea, and if at all its worth taking a leap over it. The Agenda
Friday Evening :
Product Idea Pitching Session. Starts at 5pm. Post the Pitches, the teams can interact with the audience (There are always developers who'd like to help a great idea, your job is to convince them to work on yours). Teams are formed. Saturday Morning : Teams assemble, and coding begins. 10 minute session per team to get to interact with atleast one mentor, explain what your plan is, get some input and start hacking away. Saturday Evening : Review, and feedback. Some teams would have bit off too much than they can chew. Time to downscale a bit and align. Sunday Morning : Get back on plan, and drive towards getting functionality ready Sunday Afternoon : Start working on the Niceties (There is a team working on logos for every product, and will give inputs on UI, Color combinations etc) Sunday evening : The Final Stretch - Tie all loose ends, and prepare Pitch and Demos. 6PM. Demo Time. Each team gets 5 minutes. The Mentors
